OH yeah, cantering is the best thing ever. When I was training Teddy, we went through this phase where cantering meant, go faster and faster so that Tracy is flying around behind like a kite, and then see if we can buck her off. LOL, but once he got over his fear, he adopted this wonderful, slow canter, that I can and do ride for ages and ages. It's a darned good thing he's an ARabian, cuz I'd have prolly killed another horse by now. There's just nothing like that feeling of that relaxed rhythm and the total responsiveness. I just breathe, and Teddy knows what I want. Guh, now you've made me horse sick! Damn you!
