Devestating! Wow, just heartbreaking and beautiful.
I love Bones quietly waiting for Jim to finally see him. The characterization of Jim being so bright, so loved, so gregarious - all to keep people from seeing the pain and fear deep inside is perfect.
And poor Elliot - being the last one left behind would be worse than death to him. I can see him out in the middle of nowhere - a piece of land outside some small town where even after a decade he'd be "the new guy". Where the guys playing checkers outside the feed store talk about how there's something "not quite right" with him and the ladies at the diner insist he just needs "a nice girl to settle down with". Meanwhile he works hard keeping the land and the horses healthy, sun up to sun down - counting the days until he can finally lay himself down...
Sam & Dean, Lucifer & Michael, - It seems it will only end in heartbreak and blood. However I love the image of Dean finding stillness, darkness, and peace in the midst of being Michael's vessel. Let's hope Michael is right and both Sam & Lucifer can still be saved...
Thank you so much for posting these! I adore how much you convey in such small snippets.
