I just did a search for crossover fics involving the boys having daemons and didn't find anything. I did once see such a fic for Stargate Atlantis, though.
I want any kind of talking feline. Preferably the entire family Felidae.
I'm going to see the movie version of The Golden Compass soon, and I've read the book and also The Subtle Knife and The Amber Spyglass. I'd glad to hear that the movie adaptation is worthy of the novel.
What other movies are you planning on seeing? How about MirrorMask?
I haven't heard much about that one. I wanna see Enchanted, I Am Lengend, and The Water Horse, to name a few. I really need to go through the newly released/soon-to-be-released list.
I've seen Enchanted! It was great. It intentionally starts out with all kinds of Disney cliches, but it becomes surprisingly entertaining. Some of the characters are really funny!
The Water Horse is also on my to-do list.
MirrorMask isn't recent, it's that Jim Henson Company movie I told you about that's been called a spiritual successor to Labyrinth. You'd have to get the DVD, but it's well worth it!
I had a store hold my Dark Angel DVDs, but that was via telephone call. Good, you should be able to get that soon then, if the weather's good.
I liked it. But the change of theme and loss of quality was obvious. Frankly, the second season needs Alec in it to be worth watching. The first one doesn't.
Oh, I just got an idea centered on the premise that even though Ben and Alec look the same, their daemons illustrate the differences between them. Someone else can write it if they want to, I'm focused on other ideas at the moment.
Thanks. I'm thinking about more of the fic you beta-read and another one in which the First Evil tries to drive Alec crazy. I'm building them in my head before writing, I think that makes it flow more naturally.

Especially ones with opposable thumbs, like in the books!
I wonder what daemons Sam and Dean would have...?

As a sidenote, I saw 'Proof of Purchase' today. The change of theme and loss of quality between seasons one and two is already obvious.

Aww, you don't like "Proof of Purchase"? I love that one. So much Alec!
