I WANT A TALKING POLAR BEAR SO MUCH!!!!!!!!

I want any kind of talking feline. Preferably the entire family Felidae.

I'm going to see the movie version of The Golden Compass soon, and I've read the book and also The Subtle Knife and The Amber Spyglass. I'd glad to hear that the movie adaptation is worthy of the novel.

What other movies are you planning on seeing? How about MirrorMask?

I've seen Enchanted! It was great. It intentionally starts out with all kinds of Disney cliches, but it becomes surprisingly entertaining. Some of the characters are really funny!

The Water Horse is also on my to-do list.

MirrorMask isn't recent, it's that Jim Henson Company movie I told you about that's been called a spiritual successor to Labyrinth. You'd have to get the DVD, but it's well worth it!

What's a holds' list? It sounds like something on an online ordering system or something a store does for you.

I also want to see The Spiderwick Chronicles, but that's not out until February.

As a sidenote, I saw 'Proof of Purchase' today. The change of theme and loss of quality between seasons one and two is already obvious.

I had a store hold my Dark Angel DVDs, but that was via telephone call. Good, you should be able to get that soon then, if the weather's good.

I liked it. But the change of theme and loss of quality was obvious. Frankly, the second season needs Alec in it to be worth watching. The first one doesn't.

I just saw "Radar Love". So this is the start of Max being bitchy. She turned out not to be wrong, but it was annoying.
