1. We have a new dog.  We got her on Tuesday, though we first met her a week ago today.  I named her Sunflower and we all call her Sunny.  I also call her SunnyBear.  So the non-humans at my house are now GusGus, JennyBean, and SunnyBear.  And, yes, I named them all.

2. I got a ticket for speeding yesterday. My first in the six years since I started driving.

3. I still lack a job, though I'm volunteering four days a week for an adult literacy program downtown.

4. I want to write a Little Mermaid story where instead of the mermaid becoming human, the man goes to her in the ocean.  I think Splash ends that way, but do any other movies? 

5. I also got an idea for a fantasy story where a boy raised by dragons wages war against the humans who killed his adopted family.  I've written a Mag7 AU like that and it's on my delicious page; it'll be posted here in the next couple weeks.  But I really want to write something original based on that premise.

6. I also want to write a story where the destined Chosen One hero totally rejects said destiny and the world burns to ashes. *shrugs*

7.  I wish there were more Losers fanfiction on the internet.  I think I've either read or refused to read everything posted, damnit.

The Losers fanfiction thing is a problem. I've resolved to write my own, but it's not quite the same.

They don't have all that many, but those they have are spectacular.

With uni starting again next week (ie, my life ending), I don't really know. But I'm inspired, so probably not too long.

4. Dunno, but it's a great idea. There was a Little Mermaid cartoon series (not related to the Disney movie) where she could drink a potion to become human and he could drink a potion to breathe water (but no tail), so they alternated.
