Prompt: Kurt Hummel is one of Azazel's Special Children. Burt is an Ex-Hunter, who unlike John Winchester is more interested in protecting Kurt then Vengeance (A shotgun isn't all Burt has in the house). Puck is a Demon, set to watch and guide Kurt, but amazingly Puck falls in love, becoming loyal to Kurt -Kurt becomes addicted to Pucks Blood.
Note: this entire story is pre-kink, sorry.

Noah Puckerman died as a baby. Very few people know. The thing in his body, calling itself Puck? It’s a demon. Doesn’t really have a name, even in Hell. Old friend of Azazel, doing a favor.

See, Sam Winchester is the favorite to win. Has that whole angelic vessel of a brother. Sam was always going to win, if only because his big brother wouldn’t accept anything different. And most of the contenders were chumps, anyway.

But Kaitlyn Hummel made a deal and the demon calling itself Puck (now) was bored with Hell. He vaguely remembered a life before, so he wanted to see what life was like in the present day. Azazel held the original negotiations and turned the whole thing over to Puck.

Burt and Kaitlyn Hummel had a son six months after Noah Puckerman died. Burt had retired from hunting when they married, and he didn’t know about Kaitlyn’s deal. He (probably) never would.

Puck took over the infant Noah’s body and made it his own. He studied infants in daycare to see how to act. He didn’t torture the parents or the kid sister that came a year before Dad left. He was actually a good brother.

Kids at school, though, were fair game. Especially Kurt Hummel. Every time Puck tormented him, he tried to guess Kurt’s ability. He couldn’t figure it out.

Then, while Puck and Kurt were in middle school, Azazel died, killed by his favorite’s big brother. Puck knew the board was set and Lucifer would be free soon, but he didn’t want the world to end anymore. He liked people and food and sex. So while the Winchesters were combating the end, Puck became a pool boy and had fun, and watched while Kurt blossomed.

Puck used to know a few angels, okay? And Kurt Hummel sings a thousand times better. And it might be Stockholm Syndrome or something, but he doesn’t like it when Kurt is hurt anymore. Well, he likes the blood and tears, but only when he causes it. And if Karofsky body-checks Kurt one more time, Puck may kill him. It’s been awhile since he had fun like that. Almost eighteen years.

Most of the abilities, Puck knows, died with Azazel. But Azazel wasn’t the demon who bled in Kurt’s mouth. Most of the kids didn’t have a demon touch them nearly every day for a decade.

Sam Winchester seals Lucifer in a cage and Karofsky tries to fuck Kurt Hummel, and Puck jerks upright in a chair when Kurt’s power comes online.

Kurt is a pyrokinetic, and Karofsky is ash. Puck chuckles, strutting into the locker room. “’sup, princess?” he asks, catching the fire Kurt doesn’t mean to throw. “You’re a little early, kiddo,” Puck says, smiling as Kurt’s eyes follow the flame dancing around his fingers.

Karofsky is all over the room. Puck spreads him around, just some more dust in the air.

Kurt’s breathing deeply, trying to catch his breath. Puck wants to make him bleed, make him cry, claim him forever.

Azazel is dead. Lucifer is gone. Lilith died a year ago, all part of the plan. Sam Winchester slaughtered Alistair. Crowley is the (second) most powerful demon left and he’ll probably take over Hell. Be too busy to track down a demon in a hick Ohio town, even if the last of Azazel’s kids is here.

Except, Kurt isn’t Azazel’s. He’s Puck’s. So Puck says, “C’mon, let’s get out of here,” and carefully grabs Kurt’s hand.

Kurt lets himself be led from the school, to a park not far from Puck’s house. Puck tosses up a shield—nothing alive will bother them. Nothing will see them. They have all the time in the world.

Kurt asks questions, once he calms down. Puck even answers some of them. It’ll be awhile before Kurt’s comfortable with the idea of demons, of course, but Puck can be patient. He’ll teach Kurt, and look out for him, and in a couple years, maybe less, Kurt will be his in all the ways that matter.

Puck may even let Kurt’s loved ones live, just to show Kurt he cares.

Title: we wait for our reflection in the mirror of water to speak what we have always known
Fandom: Supernatural/The Losers movieverse

Pairings: pre-Jensen/Cougar; Castiel/Jensen

Prompt: protect

part of "let me perish young"

Jensen wasn’t supposed to care about them. He was bored, so he signed up for the army. He was good with computers, so they ‘trained’ him as a tech. A black-ops guy, normal human, almost always the youngest of the team… normal human. Young. Damn, but he’s good.

He never cared about the teams until Colonel Clay. Roque, Pooch. Cougar. Goddamned Cougar.

He knew the moment they met. When he first heard Cougar’s heartbeat, scented him. There in the sunlight, Jensen found his clan: all ‘shifter blood, all young, all his. Cougar most of all.

They thought he was the weakest, the youngest, the one to protect. The little brother, the kid. He had to be careful when he looked out for them. The army didn’t appreciate being lied to, so if he got found out…

Well, they wouldn’t be able to hold him, but it’d take a whole lot of dead men before they learned it. He’s pretty sure none of the clan would like that.

Then Bolivia, and Max, and Roque betraying his pack, Jensen’s clan, for a plane-full of cash.

Jensen has silently protected them for five years. A drop in the ocean. Not even a blink. He’s proven himself as a man. He loves them. He needs them. His brothers. The only mate he’s ever wanted to claim. But they don’t know him. Aisha is stirring things up, a young and arrogant and powerful ‘wolf. She’ll make trouble, if he comes clean.

But he has to come clean. Max is strong and he has allies, and Castiel is close. Jensen can feel him.

Jensen misses him.

So he checks in on each member of the clan and goes outside to make a phone call.

He loves them. He hopes he’ll get to keep them, when all is revealed.

He looks up into the sunset, staring at the fading light, soaking in the warmth as his sire’s voice fills up the holes inside him.

If the clan rejects you, Castiel whispers across the continent, come home to me, childe. You were first. I’ll always have a place for you.

Jensen relaxes with a sigh and tells him about Max.

Title: I made you to find me

Pairings: Arthur/Eames, Ellie/Awesome
Rating: PG
Wordcount: 630

Prompt: adoration

When Chuck was a kid, he had an imaginary friend named Bryce. Bryce was smart and funny and charming. As the years passed, Chuck made up a detailed history for Bryce. By the time he was twenty, Chuck would answer any question with a quickness he didn’t even have for Ellie, his big sister.

If Bryce were real, he’d be a few inches shorter than Chuck, with dark hair and eyes bluer than the sky. He’d be as smart as Chuck, better with people, know a dozen martial arts and how to handle a gun. And he’d love Chuck. With everything in him, he’d love Chuck. He’d be as much of a geek, and they’d learn Klingon together, and it’d be perfect.

If he were real.

o0o

Chuck went from Stanford to a government program studying dreamshare. He mastered architecture and extraction, and then his instructor asked if he could forge.

Chuck looked at her and closed his eyes, imagining Bryce—from his artfully tousled hair to his shiny shoes.

Dr. Mallorie Cobb inhaled and Chuck turned to the mirror, to see Bryce Larkin looking back.

o0o

Chuck sent daily emails to Ellie. When he followed Mal into crime, he told her goodbye.

o0o

Chuck only ever forged Bryce. He studied martial arts and learned the technical aspects so Bryce could do them, but it didn’t transfer into reality. Bryce was perfect at everything in a dream—point, extraction, architecture. But only in a dream.

And then Mal introduced Chuck to Arthur. And with Arthur came Eames.

o0o

Chuck didn’t like to admit it, but he had fanboy tendencies. Arthur and Eames had all the coolest aspects of Bryce, but they weren’t forging. They were really that cool. Being around them was intoxicating.

Not long after they met, though, Mal lost her mind and jumped off a building.

Chuck didn’t work with either of them for awhile after that.

o0o

A few years passed. Chuck worked a couple jobs, but then he went home to Ellie and her husband. He got a job as part of the Nerd Herd at the local Buy More. Life was normal and quiet (read: boring).

He kept up with his contacts, of course. He dreamed about Bryce. And six months after Mal’s husband returned to their children, Arthur broke into Chuck’s apartment, dragging a bloody Eames with him.

“What the hell?” Ellie demanded, pushing her way past Devon. “Chuck, who—”

“Everyone, just keep calm,” Chuck said. “Please, no one needs to get shot.”

Arthur and Ellie both glared at him.

“Um, this is nice and awkward,” Eames slurred, “but I am bleedin’ out here, so…” He tried to pull away from Arthur and nearly fell.

Ellie looked at him. Chuck relaxed the moment he saw Arthur notice how Ellie’s face softened.

“Devon, Chuck,” she ordered, “get him on a bed.” She turned to Arthur. “You, with me.”

 o0o

Together, Ellie and Devon patched Eames up enough to catch a flight. After Arthur and Eames were gone, Ellie shoved Chuck onto the couch and demanded, “Explain.”

He told her about everything from Stanford on. She listened, then she hugged him, then she asked, “You wanted out of that life?”

“No,” he answered. “I just wanted to rest. I was always going back.”

She stared at him, her hands clutching his. “You’ll contact me on the seventeenth of every month,” she told him. “And on your birthday, my birthday, and Mother’s Day. Understand? That is the only way I’ll let you go.”

He kissed her cheek, let Devon slap him on the back, turned in his notice to the Buy More, and went to track down Arthur and Eames.

Maybe they’d let him tag along. In dreams, he was always Bryce, and Bryce… and Bryce was just as badass as them.

Bryce as Chuck's forge! OMG! I love the idea of Chuck running around with Arthur and Eames, but ooh - the idea of Bryce being only in Chuck's head is awesome and fascinating and heartbreaking and tragic all at once! I actually started writing a fic where Shaw starts teaching Chuck to dreamshare and Chuck's totem is Bryce-related... I had planned Bryce to show up at some point in a dream, but hadn't written that far. My computer crashed so I'm still waiting to hear from my tech guy whether or not all my stuff is gone :p Hopefully not because reading this makes me want to finish it off!
