things I've learned from digital cable

- no matter how many channels there are, sometimes there will still be nothing worth watching on

- Atlantis was actually Knossos in Crete

- Sodom was destroyed by the aftereffects of an asteriod

- the events of the 10 Plagues of Egypt happened because of a red tide in the Nile (the firstborn were killed by polluted grain!  that actually makes me feel better about the whole thing)

- the Red Sea was parted by a strong wind, revealing a ridge for the Hebrews to walk across

- bear-dogs are awesome

- megalodons are even cooler than I'd previously thought

- some channels are downright addicting

Don't you feel so much smarter now? That's why I don't watch tv unless I'm really, really, really bored.
