HOLY FUCK THIS MOVIE IS SO GOOD.

Tom Hardy is amazing.  I liked everyone in this movie, and the ending actually suprised me, and I'm seeing it again, OHMYGOD.

Dude, and he got even more ripped to play Bane?  How is that possible?

So.  Yeah.

SO FUCKING GOOD.

He looks horrible as Bane. Bulked up to comic levels, mustache, pretty much bald. All that pretty is totally gone. :(

cherrybina found set pictures of him in costume. He looks ridiculous and I am just happy that movie magic will make him scary and awesome.

I've liked Bane ever since I read the Knightfall novelization, so I'd have been excited no matter who was playing him.

But it's Tom Hardy, one of my new boys, so. I've pretty much just been in a state of squee.

I've had a comic deprived European childhood, so Bane is just the next Batman villain to me. My attachment is to the actor, strictly.

Which doesn't mean I'm not going to watch the new Batman, of course, or root for the bad guy. :)

Dude, if they follow canon for Bane/Batman interactions... it's going to be epic. You have no idea how awesome Bane is.

... I may or may not have been squeeing for days and telling my family over and over things they didn't give a hoot about.

Ah, I know all about squeeing and getting funny looks. The worst is reading in the living room. Everything something funny happens and I try to explain I get the nod-and-back-away-slowly treatment.
