            There’s a bit of dark in everyone, Sam. You’ve seen it... felt it… now, son… embrace it. You know, don’t you... I never left. I will never leave. I’m in you, that bit of darkness you always feel. 

            I am that constant temptation thrumming beneath your skin, rushing through your veins. You run and you hide, but I’m in you… I am you. You can’t leave me behind.

            And what terrifies you… what has you shivering in the night, listening to him breathe… is that you don’t want to.

            That, Sammy, is your secret. And mine. That you want to accept it… that you’re tired, and it’s looking easier all the time. That he won’t be enough to hold you, to keep you from diving over the edge…

            Do you think he’ll fall with you? I believe he will. He’s too weak to let you go. 

            There’s a bit of dark in everyone, after all. And your brother… wouldn’t he look beautiful by light of Hell’s flame?
