A lot of great books in there. Lengthy list too.
Sadly mine would probably be triple that. :p

Interesting. I've read On a Pale Horse, Elvenblood, and The Jungle Book. I hear American Gods is good, Kripke used it for Supernatural inspiration (and White Wolf Publishing for Scion inspiration). Of course, you'll want to read His Dark Materials.

*headdesk* I meant to wish you a happy birthday in that comment. Happy birthday!

I didn't think His Dark Materials should go on the list, I was mentioning how good it is.

I read Elvenblood before Elvenbane and followed it pretty well.

Which of the HDM trilogy have you checked out?

Get utterly off your tits when you go to read American Gods. You can't read it sober

You're welcome!

It's funny, 'cause I can't find my own copies of The Golden Compass and The Subtle Knife right now, just The Amber Spyglass (Book 3). I have the hardcover of that one.

There's also a small companion book called Lyra's Oxford, and another called Once Upon a Time in the North (focusing on Iorek and Lee) comes out April 3 this year. The Book of Dust comes out in 2009.

If it makes you feel better I've got you beat. When I got married my husband and I combined our libraries and two years later they're still unorganized and mostly unread.

Guh, Memnoch I just had to throw against the nearest wall put down and Queen of the Damned was 90% exposition.

I'm actually reading American Gods online right now for free. Mr. Gaiman = awesome. And if you haven't already, ya gotta read the Sandman graphic novels. They're gorgeous.

...Is that Connor and Murphy up in your icon or do I need new glasses?

They are. Completely worth it for the art and stories, usually.

Boondock Saints is one of my favorite movies, courtesy of a Mostly Scottish friend who had me watch it, Team McManus, Wilhem Dafoe's awesome crossdressing and basically, the whole damn thing.

Here, you win the internets.
