"House"/"Supernatural": Robert first notices the ability after a blinding headache lasts three days. He moves past shock, denial, and acceptance to realize he can only heal superficial wounds and it doesn’t take much to wear himself out. He also can’t heal himself.

"Supernatural": “There’s something you should know,” the thing masquerading as his brother says, chambering another round.

"Supernatural":  She walked into the Roadhouse during a February snowstorm, a baby on her hip and another in her belly.  She cased the joint with wary, weary eyes, and the man who came in behind her looked just as worn-down.

"House"/Uptown Girls: Robert has always been tone deaf; Neal hasn’t. Robert was raised by Mum and Dad’s shadow; Auntie Devon took Neal and ran, and Dad never risked getting all the bad press the scandal would ensure if he looked for them.

"Supernatural"/Greek mythology:  “You didn’t warn them about me,” she says, cocking her head. Her body is petite, brunette, pale, and so easily breakable.

"Supernatural": Jay was twelve when they met, Charlie a worldly fifteen. Jay was cheating at cards in the backroom of a bar he shouldn’t have set foot in, but the proprietor was one of Pop’s friends.

"Leverage": They met on Eliot’s first job. Eliot had gotten in too deep too quick—barely twenty, he was running on pure will and survival instinct when Mr. Ford knocked on the door and offered him a hand.

"Supernatural":  They purchase him in the dying days of November. He knows they’ll sell him by the first of the year.  No one ever keeps him long, unable to tame him, unable to do anything except beat him and curse him.

Harry Potter: They found his body in the Forbidden Forest while combing the trees for survivors. There was no mark on him and his eyes stared up at the sky. He was placed with the rest of the student casualties in the Great Hall; later, they would be sorted out, but for now they were all simply dead.

"Supernatural": “My dad was a hero,” the kid says, green eyes flashing, and it’s like looking into the past. He’s shackled hand and foot, teeth bared, and he doesn’t answer any questions.  All he says is, “Fuck you” and “My dad was a hero.”
