It's my favorite book EVER. (Intensely dislike the movie, though.)

What amazes me about the book is how wonderfully set up for threesome fics it is...because Joe, Marian, and Shane all love each other. It's not just one pairing or another, or an unrequited anything-it's the *three* of them.

I really wonder what Schaeffer was thinking of when he wrote it. Not fangirls, I'm sure. *winks*

Not necessarily, if you remember the film pretty well. Though it's good enough it wouldn't hurt-I know I wouldn't mind seeing it again. Got to get my damn speakers working! *grumbles*
