*is pleading*

Okay, someone please please please tell me I cannot write a High School Musical AU where Ryan gets assaulted after that major game from the first movie and is all depressed and withdrawn, wearing sweats and not singing or dancing or doing any theater at all, and he hates to be touched, and he's not talking to Sharpay, and Chad overhears her being all concerned with Kelsi, and then he confronts Ryan out of concern and curiosity, and then he figures it out--Ryan flinches from his touch and looks around all warily because they're alone in the hall, and Chad's sister had been assaulted three years before so he knows.  And he completely backs off, gentling down, and Ryan just wants to tell someone, and--

Yeah.  Please tell me not to write this.

Ohmygod, you are making me want to crumble and actually watch HSM. DDDDDD:

[identity profile] creeno.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 01:20 am (UTC)(link)
...what in... what am I watching!? Dammit, now I have to rent the damn thing. You suck, corrupting me to pop culture! >P

No, no, it's cool. =D

[identity profile] tigris-lilsis.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 01:56 am (UTC)(link)
I, being a teeny-bopper and therefore watcher of HSM, reccomend that you have a HSM marathon and watch the first and second one, and then go see the third one. The second one is definitely the gayest, but the others have quite a few adorable scenes too. (I'm the one who converted tigris_wolf!) Watch! Go watch now! Then come back and squee!

[identity profile] creeno.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 02:05 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not a teeny bopper, but my sibs have been trying to convert the big sister for forever. I'll rent it after I return Across the Universe. maybe.

[identity profile] tigris-lilsis.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 02:45 am (UTC)(link)
No maybes! By the way, how was Across the Universe? I can't decide if I should rent it or not.

[identity profile] creeno.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 02:49 am (UTC)(link)
If your a diehard Beatles fan, you are either going to love it or hate it. I loved it, and I'm a little biased because I've never really listened to the Beatles. It's deliciously (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IMk8GIOQHvY&feature=related) trippy. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NwB8QiKWodk)

[identity profile] tigris-lilsis.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 03:00 am (UTC)(link)
Eh. I do what I can. *grins widely*

P.s. You're a poopy-head, and were not invited to that conversation, so there! *sticks out tongue*

[identity profile] tigris-lilsis.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 03:07 am (UTC)(link)
Hey, man, you should be glad that I'm even talking on this thing.

[identity profile] tigris-lilsis.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 02:58 am (UTC)(link)
I've never really listened to the Beatles either, but I really liked that Dear Prudence song. I think I'm gonna have to rent the movie this weekend.

[identity profile] creeno.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 03:00 am (UTC)(link)
*SQUEE* WALL-E WAS ADORABLE.

[identity profile] creeno.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 03:10 am (UTC)(link)
It is so worth it. Pixar did a GREAT job.

[identity profile] tigris-lilsis.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 03:05 am (UTC)(link)
Why didn't you see it with me?

[identity profile] tigris-lilsis.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 03:14 am (UTC)(link)
Well, you're invited to go into my memories and watch it there. Good luck!

[identity profile] creeno.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 03:00 am (UTC)(link)
It's so worth it. And in context, Dear Prudence is a little hilarious.

[identity profile] tigris-lilsis.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 03:04 am (UTC)(link)
I'll have to remember that when I watch it.

P.S. Your icon is made entirely of win. Psycho!Dean is awesome! But I have to admit, like Evil!Sam better.

[identity profile] creeno.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 03:10 am (UTC)(link)
They're both fucked up. No complaints here. =D

[identity profile] tigris-lilsis.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 01:58 am (UTC)(link)
As for you tigre, you should definitely not write that fic. *insert sarcasm here*
.... Just write it already! We all know you want to!

[identity profile] tigris-lilsis.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 03:02 am (UTC)(link)
This is where the "Eh. I do what I can. *grins widely*" thing is SUPPOSED to be. Stupid computer, not cooperating.

[identity profile] tempestquill.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 04:05 am (UTC)(link)
You're asking the wrong people! I mean it girly! I wanna see this story and like yesterday!!!! WRITE IT!!!!!!!!!!

[identity profile] tempestquill.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 05:13 pm (UTC)(link)

Sorry, but... No. Instead, you could watch Jekyll (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=po33ggf23qU). But I have to admit that the clip you suggested to [livejournal.com profile] creeno is rather... queer.

Methinks I just have a problem with the sugary looks of it.

[identity profile] sadelyrate.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 03:34 pm (UTC)(link)
It's delicious! It's a six episode miniseries. and so very wonderfully twisted I think you might like it. Granted, 'disturbing' is probably the single best word to describe it. However, I liked its brand of disturbing. Mostly.

Besides, any show in which an actor gets to say "Trust me, I'm a psychopath!" can't be all that bad... ;)

[identity profile] sadelyrate.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 04:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Alas, no (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jekyll_(TV_series)). Hubby found it for me, and now I'm itching to get the DVDs. :)

[identity profile] sadelyrate.livejournal.com 2008-11-08 01:48 pm (UTC)(link)
*glee*

But I don't want to rot my brain with syrup-y schmoop! I need the angst and the blood and the black humour to remain sane!

[identity profile] sadelyrate.livejournal.com 2008-11-08 03:24 pm (UTC)(link)
*sigh*
On the other hand, I'm also listening to Bon Jovi at the moment...and thinking about wincest.

So, I'll...try. That's all I'm going to promise.

[identity profile] tigremere.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 06:48 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah... well... You should be studying, not writing sick and twisted stories about sappy characters from a bubblegum and rainbows movie.

[identity profile] soxykitty.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 06:52 am (UTC)(link)
God you said HSM and my immediate response was NoNoNoNoooo! I must admit those crazy dancing teenagers scare me... but then you descibed the prompt... and I want it! *grabby hands*

:o/ *shame-faced*

[identity profile] irnan.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 06:58 am (UTC)(link)
Dude, no. Just no. Can't you ever sit back and accept the happy? The fluff? The bubblegum? The bad acting? The quaint inoffending unsurprising storyline? The...

Sod it. Write the damn thing.
