Okay, someone please please please tell me I cannot write a High School Musical AU where Ryan gets assaulted after that major game from the first movie and is all depressed and withdrawn, wearing sweats and not singing or dancing or doing any theater at all, and he hates to be touched, and he's not talking to Sharpay, and Chad overhears her being all concerned with Kelsi, and then he confronts Ryan out of concern and curiosity, and then he figures it out--Ryan flinches from his touch and looks around all warily because they're alone in the hall, and Chad's sister had been assaulted three years before so he knows.  And he completely backs off, gentling down, and Ryan just wants to tell someone, and--

Yeah.  Please tell me not to write this.

I, being a teeny-bopper and therefore watcher of HSM, reccomend that you have a HSM marathon and watch the first and second one, and then go see the third one. The second one is definitely the gayest, but the others have quite a few adorable scenes too. (I'm the one who converted tigris_wolf!) Watch! Go watch now! Then come back and squee!

I'm not a teeny bopper, but my sibs have been trying to convert the big sister for forever. I'll rent it after I return Across the Universe. maybe.

If your a diehard Beatles fan, you are either going to love it or hate it. I loved it, and I'm a little biased because I've never really listened to the Beatles. It's deliciously (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IMk8GIOQHvY&feature=related) trippy. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NwB8QiKWodk)

Eh. I do what I can. *grins widely*

P.s. You're a poopy-head, and were not invited to that conversation, so there! *sticks out tongue*

I've never really listened to the Beatles either, but I really liked that Dear Prudence song. I think I'm gonna have to rent the movie this weekend.

It's so worth it. And in context, Dear Prudence is a little hilarious.
