            “Who are you?” the Telmarine king asks, standing above him with the blade of a dagger at Edmund’s neck. “You cannot be a Narnian; you are human.”

            Edmund spits blood at him. “I am Narnian,” he forces out between split lips and broken teeth. “I am Narnian.” 

            The king leans down, placing his mouth right next to Edmund’s ear. “Tell me who you are,” he hisses. “How to defeat your army, crush the Narnian’s once and for all.”

            Edmund closes his eyes, calling on Aslan for aid. “I am Narnian,” Edmund repeats. “I trust in the Lion.”

            The king smiles.

I wonder if Lucy's cordial would work on them? I don't remember if, in the book, they tried the cordial on Reepicheep's tail; just that in the movie, it didn't work when he swallowed a drop. Would topical application make the difference? *iz curious*

I can't be having my Edmund all toothless, now. Captured, tortured, possibly raped...fine, fine, go right ahead. I'll watch! But not toothless...*rotfl*

I did read it, back when you first put it up; but I forgot it said the cordial healed everything physical. Ok-now Edmund can go be tormented by flashbacks all you like. GRAPHIC flashbacks! :D
