It's funny. XD I sometimes like Chekov with Sulu but it has to be a good fic and a rare mood for me. I love Chekov/Bones and Chekov/Kirk, enjoy Chekov/Scotty in a kind of naughty way, but Chekov/Sulu...I just can't do it. (Now, I'm huge for Sulu/Kirk. I'll take Sulu/Kirk any day of the week. It's not like I don't want to see Sulu get some lovin'. >>' I even quite enjoyed some Sulu/Scotty.) And...I dunno why that is.
I don't have anything against Sulu/Chekov. XO (And in canon Sulu is like...21, and John Cho is an immortal like from Highlander, so...yeah.)
I really feel the age kink with Scotty/Chekov but with Bones/Chekov I think I'm mostly interested in Chekov's brightness versus McCoy's >:((((( Although I've tried to deal evenhandedly with the age issue as the series I'm writing has gotten ungodly long. >>'
