Kurt dreams about changing the world. Of course he does. Every kid does. He'll make everything better for his generation and every generation that follows.
It won't be easy. He's going against decades of training and idiocy and people afraid of change.
But today, Azimio Adams stopped a humongous freshman from yelling a slur at Kurt. Dave stood next to him, fists clenched, glaring at the kid, and the boy cowered back, fleeing without even a single glance at Kurt.
"Thank you," Kurt said.
Azimio scoffed, rolled his eyes. "Didn't do it for you," he said, walking away. Dave followed, one look directed Kurt's way.
Kurt smiled, watching them go. Azimio didn't do it for him, no… but he did it.
His dream gets closer every day.

Sometimes, Blaine just stops and stares and smiles. Kurt will jabber on for a few more minutes, hands waving gracefully around, until he realizes Blaine hasn't added anything for a little while, and then he'll turn to look at Blaine, eyebrow raised.
Blaine will just smile at him and reach for his hand and be so very in love.

Prompt: Supernatural; Meg/Dean; "Don't be a sissy, Dean. Do it like you mean it."
He's hesitant, fingers loose on the knife. Quick little glances at her before he looks away. Weak and pathetic.
"Don't be a sissy, Dean," she snarls. "Do it like you mean it."
He flinches. There is nothing of Alistair's star pupil left in him. He's just a broken man now.
She rolls her eyes, turning away. "You're not worth it," she says. Two years out of Hell have turned him soft.
"Please let Sam go," he whispers at her back. No bite. Not even a bark. Just a bag of skin walking around with shattered bones.
She laughs. "This feels like home, Dean," she purrs, tossing a smirk over her shoulder. "Bein' in Sammy again. This is where I was meant to be."
Dean's grip on the knife changes. He moves too quick to follow, and the edge is at her throat.
"You won't," she says. "You went to Hell for this boy."
"And I learned so much," he replies, caressing her skin. "Let my brother go or die in him." He smirks now, and all she can see is Alistair. "He's the Vessel, babe," Dean says. "He'll come back. You won't, not again." He tilts his head. "Maybe I'll kill you anyway."
His hand twists. She doesn't even have time to scream.

Prompt: Leverage, Eliot/Hardison/Parker, Eliot confesses that he fights more than just people
Alec quietly panics, cycling through anything he knows about vampires - not much, since he focused on sci-fi instead of horror. He never got all that into Buffy, and he's been too busy to watch True Blood, even though Rogue sure grew up hot -
Focus, focus, the head goon - vampire, what the fuck? - is looking at Parker again, and that's so not cool, because ever since the first fang showed, she's been cowering on the floor like she knows something.
She's Parker. Of course she knows something.
"How much like the movies is it?" he asks, crouching down next to her, trying to rein in his fear.
"Only magic kills 'em," she says. "But I'm not magic. You aren't, either." She looks up at him. "I think."
"Nope, not magic at all," he whispers. Shit. Magic's real, too.
He's learning all kinds of things tonight. Too bad he'll die before he can do anything about it.
"You morons!" the boss-vampire roars suddenly. "I told you - check all claims before bringing any food home." He touches one of the goon-vamps on the face and the vampire explodes.
Huh.
The rest of the goons back away, heads low.
Something cuts through the air and three of the goons burst into flames.
"He's magic," Parker says, uncurling and bouncing to her feet.
Alec can only watch in shock as Eliot cuts a swath through the vampires until it's just him and the boss left.
"You owe me," the vampire says. "I made you what you are."
Eliot laughs.
The vampire shouts, "Don't you dare!"
Eliot's hand moves, quick and sharp, and the vampire doubles over, screaming.
Well.
The vampire collapses; Eliot leans down to touch the back of his head and says gently, "Burn in the lowest ring of the Pit, Old One." Eliot straightens up and waits until only ashes remain before turning to look at Alec and Parker.
"C'mon," he calls. "Let's get out of here."
Parker rushes over, glomping him. He catches her and holds her tight, eyes still on Alec. Alec goes slower, unsure. Vampires and magic and Eliot killing without even touching.
The vampires should've checked the claim, that's what the boss said. What claim? Whose claim?
… and how did Eliot find them, anyway?
Eliot holds out a hand, as Alec comes into reach. Parker's still in his grip, as pliant as a kitten.
Yeah, okay. Magic. Alec can work with that.
He takes Eliot's hand.

Prompt: Supernatural, Dean/Castiel, fledgling
Castiel watches with fierce determination to learn as Dean bathes the newborn, as he feeds her, as he holds her and hums lullabies.
"Wanna turn?" Dean asks, glancing up from her sleepy face. Her wings droop over his arms; they are tiny, yet. He does not see them.
"I am… I do not want to hurt her," Castiel says. He does not like this sense of nervousness. Even when he challenged Heaven, even when he faced Hell, he did not feel like this.
Dean smiles at him. "You're her dad, Cas." Dean does not say, you'll never hurt her. Dean does not say, you love her too much for that. Dean does say, "Come here and take this baby girl."
She looks up at him with bright hazel eyes. She falls asleep in his arms, and her wings flutter as she flies in a dream.

Where'd you get that icon? It's wonderful.
