television

So, this season, I've tried to watch a few different new shows, and one on DVD.

I couldn't even finish the pilot of Ringer.

I didn't care enough about Secret Circle to tune in to the second ep, though I did like Brian Kinney as a bad guy.

I watched the first couple episodes of Vampire Diaries on DVD, but not enough to finish the disc.  The only character I liked was Damon.

I'm still watching Revenge; I really am intrigued to see how Emanda is going to destroy everyone.  I have no idea how they'll carry it over to multiple seasons, though.

Supernatural: I've still not seen most of season 6.  None of season 7.

Glee: I actually almost like Schue this season.  So weird.  Still fastforwarding most of his scenes.

I'm watching X-Factor and Project Runway whenever [livejournal.com profile] tigremere does.  That also how I saw the last season of American Idol.  I don't really care about any of the contestants, although I think I'm rooting for Bert (Project Runway) just because I like him the most.  I don't like any of their clothes, though.

I'm also having the DVR record Ancient Aliens because I find it fascinating, but I don't believe in it.  I think.  Maybe.  (It does make a bit of sense.)

And tonight the DVR is recording the pilot for American Horror Story because Zachary Quinto may be in it.  I really hate ghosts, so we'll see how that goes.

SPN Season 7 is being promising so far.

Much the same for me...I grew up on LJ Smith, still have a bunch of her books, but couldn't find that love for VD or SC on TV. And I had such high hopes for Gellar's return to TV, but no.

Revenge, though? Is it really worth watching?

If you find the time and inclination to give the Vampire Diaries another chance, it does get a lot better compared to how it started out! It kind of kicks off around episode six and seven and finds its groove, and I can't say it's lost it since.

I saw the first episode of Revenge and thought it intriguing enough to continue watching. Kind of reminds me of Harper's Island.

Hmm have you watched any of Game of Thrones? I just finished the first season and I thought it was pretty good, although I haven't read any of the books it's based off of...
