My god, how hard is it to spell the word SUMMARY!? Or even GLANCE at the summary of your beloved story before you post it for all the world to see?

Also, when someone points out a GLARING ERROR in your summary politely in a private message, is it too much trouble to FIX IT?!

I am way too tired to be up and looking for stories...

Bwah!

If someone misspells the word "summary" or even a word in the summary, I will skip the story completely. It's bad enough to be reading through and find errors like loose/lose, breathe/breath, "couldn't of" instead of "couldn't have". People who don't know the difference between those need to go back to elementary school before they try to write anything!

And also, it's after 4:30 AM here, my friend is dropping off her toddler for me to babysit in 6 hours and I'm doing the same thing you're doing. :) Don't feel bad.

Same here. Spelling mistakes piss me off, and I'm from Israel. English isn't my first language!

Oh, sometimes ff.net add mistakes all by themselves, apparently to piss of the author.

Heh. I feel your pain. I was foolish enough to wander about aimlessly in ff.net a few nights ago. Baaaaaad idea.

What I can't understand are the people who come right out and SAY in their summary that this hasn't been edited/isn't formatted/has spelling and/or grammar errors/ is OOC!!!!!!!!

WHY??????

True author's note from a story I did NOT read this week -
Note: My keyboard is very odd and sometimes my words will either not be capitalized or not have spaces in-between the words. My fault, sorry.

Um...That's called a typo, sweetheart. It has nothing to do with the keyboard, just the fingers on it.

You know the WORST of it?

That story had DOZENS of reviews.

And they read like this:
i think that you have done really well in looking at everthing from two different point of views and the way that you had worded everything it was pretty fun to read it i don't know what everybody had said about it but i had quiet enjoyed it and i look forward to reading more stories from you. coming from a person who loves to read i think that you have a great abilitie and a natural one you shouldn't stop here keep writing gril let it all out after all the authours of today they also let their minds run wild and look at them

Oh, yeah, and then there is this "review":

BUT THEN AGAIN SOME PEOPLE THINK I'M A DORK,TOO. BUT THEY'RE JUST JELOUS OF US. WE HAVE A PLACE WHERE WE CAN EXPRESS OUR CREATIVITY AND LOVE FOR A CERTAIN THING. THEY...THEY HAVE NOTHING. THEY HAVE DRUGS AND ALCLOHOL. THEY WILL NEVER KNOW THE FEELING YOU GET WHEN YOU EXPRESS YOURSELF THROUGH WRITING. DO NOT BE ASHAMED FOR BEING DIFFERENT.
