PMS bitchiness

The hell is 'instict'?  Dude, once is a mistake.  Twice is carelessness.

And the character's name is Carolyn.  Not Caroline.  They sound completely different.

I can't even get past the summary and there's seventeen reviews praising this?

There's not even a TITLE.  And the dialogue is punctuated incorrectly.

I'm in a pissy mood.  Sue me.

fic.

Summary: Riddick feels Fry slipping from his hand at the grasp of the evil alien, not knowing what to do he acts on instict and saves her, but was is instic or was it love?

And the aliens aren't evil!  That's like damning a lioness 'cause she ate an antelope.  Or a human for eating a cow.

And the summary is a comma-splice.

Im Back! As u'll have noticed im changing the name to just 'daylight' cuz it'd be weird with the nu PB 2 movie coming out an all :O) ..... Riddick/Carolyn

And this?  Is NOT a summary.  I have NO desire to read this story.  I want to leave a scathing comment.

I once did a list of the crappy summaries I found on the first two pages of NCIS fic. It drives me bonkers. And my mother's name is Carolyn. They do indeed sound different and she gets mad when people mix them up out of carelessness. This is a person's name. You aren't allowed to just change it to suit you.

I'm also frustrated with the recent shorthand post on [livejournal.com profile] spnstoryfinders. I got used to people using proper English to post there.

My friends pointed out that we are old school Internet. We'd already had the laws of grammar and proper English drilled into us by the time the Internet came around and we IMed and emailed and posted in complete sentences and real words, so we find the desire for Internet speak incomprehensible.
