I was born in Big D!! Love going back there although it has changed so much. I was there on the 11th of this month and it is such a huge splendid city. I know you are going to have a wonderful time.

which night are you going to the play? I'm going to be there with a friend on friday night and then stay at a hotel since the drive back from forth worth to dallas is just too much after driving down from dallas that day then sitting through the play. So I decided to stay and see what forth worth is like and try to hook up with some flist friends who are coming in for weekend shows. It's exciting, and I think you'll love it here. The dallas/fort worth area is so vast and interesting and just wonderful. been here for years and still just drive along and get distacted by all the ranches and go oooh horsies, yay!!!!!

Seriously? OK, you mention them a lot in the dean canon stories. You seem to like the Morgan breed (I assume it's a breed) the best. It's really fun to read and actually feel how much that love for the subject is as real for the author as it is for the character. It makes it, it makes me smile and also creates a curiosity to learn more.

You should come see the horses that are pastured at the end of our housing developement's one remaining open field. They are so incredibly beautiful, though everyone gets up in arms because they are not treated properly, not enough water or food or shelter or grazing for the space and number of horses. Everyone in the neighborhoods all get together and come out and feed em and some people break in and make sure they can get access to their food and I know the local animal people come and actually open the gates and get the horses access to the food. But the horsies are soo damn sweet. I want to find a way to get enough money to have a ranch that just rescues horses like that and give them tons of land to roam and people to love on em and...ok, I'll shut up before going into my big texas ranch dreams i've been toying with for the last year or so.

I can tell you like horses because the way you describe them is definitely from the perspective of someone who loves them and has spent time around them studying their beauty. the end. *hugs*
