i lost power around 9:30 pm on Sunday; got it back sometime last night. everyone in my immediate circle lost power at some point but only my parents and lilsis still don't have any. my uncle has a bunch of branches and limbs in his yard but none on his house. fences, powerlines, trees, signs -- stuff is down everywhere.

and it was only Cat2 winds here.

my parents had a very tall, somewhat large, dying tree removed from their yard this summer. if they hadn't...

and let's not forget, there's still a fucking pandemic and fuckheads who trust facebook hearsay and clickbait over science and think they can control women's wombs while not wearing a mandated mask.
