Everything I've written of "Genetic Codes" is typed up.

10887 words.  And that's without reading over it, making corrections and the like.  And that's without it being done.  

Longest, darkest thing I've ever penned.

Someone(I think it was iamstealthyone) asked if I handwrite everything, and I pretty much do.  I actually prefer writing to typing, for some reason, though I find both fun.  

And I think I might have finally figured out where this story is going.

Wow, go, you on writing that long piece. Mine in this fandom average about 3,500-5,000, with my longest at 12,000.

I was the one who asked if you handwrite things. :) I have to use a computer to get the story down, although I'll often make general notes or outline by hand. But I work faster if I can type and change things around at a whim.

Mine average somewhere between 200 and 2000, so this is a _major_ change. Before this, my longest piece was nearly 3000--and _also_ a _Devour_ crossover. Hmm...

After you asked me about writing vs typing, I started thinking about it. I actually enjoy the act of handwriting. I also enjoy typing, but not so much. I'm not sure why.
