BtVS recs

So, back when I was new to fanfiction and ff.net, I had this crush on the character of Xander Harris from the BtVS fandom.  He was pretty much my first serious crush on a TV character and is still one of my favorites, even if he's been replaced by Ben and Dean.  

I read pretty much all the Xander fics I could find on ff.net and there was this one author, Becka, who just stunned me.  I read all of the BtVS and HP stories she posted on ff.net and then clicked the link to her homepage, where I found all these dark masterpieces.  And, yes, by 'dark' I mean DARK.  

Anyway, there's this one that is in the top twenty list of things I've ever read EVER.  

So, "To Die With Open Eyes" is one I'm reccing for those like me who love character torture to death.

Warnings: Abuse. Angst. AU? Blood. Brutality. Character-death. Child-abuse. DARK. Disturbed. Language. NCS (graphic). Self-injury. Slash.  Spike and Drusilla-bastardizing. Xander-torture.
Summary: Quite possibly one of the darkest, most disturbing things I've ever written. Please read the warnings before you decide to read this one.

The teacher cancelled class yesterday so I now have until Friday. I was doing a drive-by rec and checking my email before going finish my Psych study guide--if I get an 'A' on Thursday's test I'm excempt from the final.

Dude. So I stumbled over your journal 'cause I was googling for that Jensen-is-Jared's-dogwalker AU fic, and it hit on one of your rec posts, and I hadn't read several of the other fics on that post so I started reading, and they were all really good (surprise, surprise ^_~) so I was browsing through your other rec-tagged entries, and not only did you rec one of my favorite Roswell fics, but also some of my favorite BtVS fic too - I've still got my fingers crossed that someday Becka will finish "The Long Haul" and "Wasted", but yeah... "To Die With Open Eyes" instantly became a favorite the first time I read it years ago.

So, the main point of this whole long ramble is... may I friend you?
