So, I have a slight thing for perfectly nice and sane characters going bat-shit insane in fanfic.  Has anyone noticed, I wonder?

I recently got around to watching "Stargate: Atlantis" and adore Sheppard/McKay.  I pretty much adore Sheppard and McKay--together is just a bonus.

And this fic, here?  Is so completely AWESOME I only stopped reading to eat supper.  It's the PERFECTEST alternate universe EVER.

If you're in the fandom and haven't read it?  GO DO SO RIGHT NOW.

(I'm hoping to write fic of my own, eventually, but I'm still waiting for season two DVDs.)

I'm glad you like SGA; Sheppard and McKay are such adorable geek boys, heh. I absolutely love Crimes Against Humanity, it IS the most insanely perfect AU ever and one of the reasons I love the SGA fandom. Have you read her other stories? The SGA/SPN crossover And All The World Beneath is totally squee worthy ^_^

I read the AU stories, great stuff. I also enjoy inflicting mental anguish on characters, or turning them to the dark side.

Isn't it, though? BSG, Torchwood, and occasionally Doctor Who are up there with Supernatural and Harry Potter when it comes to inflicting anguish. I wish Dark Angel had gone on longer and Alec had been developed more in part because he certainly would have suffered more. In a pretty way. Supernatural's made an art form of that, huh?
