I know we all know that the Winchester brothers love each other too much (witness heartbreaking heartbroken Sam), and Ruby was and is a Dean substitute in many ways, but if they were truly Wincestuous Dean would have had a stronger reaction to the sex scene. Still, there's always our imaginations. This show knows there's a Winchest following.
Oh, I don't mean anything against people without religious faith. Just that being fascinated with someone losing their faith is... dark. Which is part of what fanfic is for, playing with the dark possibilities of these shows.
That comment made me seriously consider all the things Ruby had said on-screen. And um... whatever she said, we didn't get to hear it. Ergo, yes. This one's canon.
