Okay, so four things I didn't like tonight:

1. Sam drinking Ruby's blood.  Seriously, what?  Better than superspecialsex, I guess.

2. Anna's "Maybe there's not, but there's still me."  Again, seriously, what?

3. Castiel not healing Dean.

4. Everybody calling Castiel 'Cas'.  Dean, every now and then, yeah, I can see that.  But Anna?  Uriel?  I figure Uriel was using it as a slur, but Anna?  C'mon.  His name is CasTIEL.
 
Other than that, though?  It was awesome!

Also, next week!  It's AMNESIA FIC. *glee*

Well, if you think about it...the blood thing...he's merely continuing what YED started when he was six months old...from what we're to gather it was only supposed to happen that one time...therefore, the more the demon blood is drank the stronger the person gets...but with the strength comes an addiction...so I can dig it.

And Anna's line...I guess that's her way of saying, "Even if God won't save him, I will." I think there's more to the Castiel/Anna thing.

I don't really know why he didn't heal Dean...maybe he was feeling guilt...I think there was a reason behind it.

Ya know...I used to hate the "Cas" thing...but I think that it's ok...I mean it gets a little complicated to continually say "Castiel"...Cas makes the speech flow smoother I think.

Either way...mind was blown by the awesomeness of this episode.

Okay, that demonblood plan makes sense. But still.

But couldn't she have just killed him without saying anything? I'da liked that better.

Maybe since he's doubting, his angel!abilities are fading?

I still hate 'Cas', no matter who says it.

Eh...I guess Ruby had to be like Buffy for the moment and have some quip as she killed him.

Eh...I just think he didn't heal Dean because maybe it's an "abuse" of power...he was only allowed to heal him that once maybe?

I like "Cas" when Dean says it...and I think Anna says it because I really think they were closer than is being let on...but that's just my thinking.

I'd have liked it better if Ruby wasn't smirking and squirming seductively on Sam's lap. I simply can't imagine the old KC!Ruby doing that!

Yeah, she so clearly has an agenda. I didn't like her as old Ruby, I don't like her now. *sighs*

Hopefully, we'll get Dean killing her.

I won't even try to deny that I repeatedly squeaked and whimpered and 'WHAT THE FUCK'ed several times last night. I mean what the hell is Sam thinking, drinking demon blood!! Like what he had at six months hadn't messed things up enough. And the angels making Dean torture Alaistair WTF? Especially when we find out that Uriel is the force behind the seal breaking. And poor Dean, like his self-esteem needed to get worse, he finds out that if he'd been stronger the seal breaking couldn't have started. Predictably his father was stronger that Dean and now he's gonna feel that he let his dad down yet again. I just want to take him home, wrap him up in a blanket and tell him over and over that he is a good man and that he is worth it and not weak. And of course once he's feeling better, lots of sex.;) And Ruby's smirk as Sam drank her blood, this brings up a new set of concerns, I'd always thought of Ruby as a low-powered demon (I mean without her knife she got her ass handed to her by other demons) but if her blood jumps up Sam's power like this what'd happen if he drank some powerful demon? Like Lilith? And from the first of this season I'd had a theory that Sam was gonna be a vessel for the devil to be re-born and I don't know about you but that's looking more and more likely. Just imagine what it'll do to Dean if he has to try to kill Sam. My heart hurts for them! :...(

At dinner I had an awesomely heartbreaking thought: Sam is Satan's vessel and Dean is God's. Why else would God be 'missing'? You know, "No will, no wrath" and whatall.

2. Anna's "Maybe there's not, but there's still me." Again, seriously, what?

Anna's... I really hope she'll find her place. At the moment, I'm not at all certain what to make of her. Or her comments, like this one. The way this line's built, it reminds me of (one of) Death's in Terry Pratchett's Mort: "There is no justice. There is only me."

And that association promises something weird.

It just would have been so much cooler if she didn't say anything, let her actions speak for themselves. You know?
