Between the pilot, "Tall Tales," and "Malleus Maleficarum," bitch is said a grandtotal of nine times, as is guy.  Of the those nine times, Dean says bitch seven and guy twice.  Women are always referred to as girl or chick(or the aforementioned bitch), and Dean does call Ruby a skank.  Dick is only said twice. 

Would anyone be interested in reading the entire paper?  As in, should I post it or not?

who thinks it's interesting that Dean has laid off way much on the Ruby epithets since he remembers coming back from Hell. Big Brother has a Reason to be a tiny bit less judgmental on some things and a whole lot more on others...

and I would adore a Broken Sammy story. Dean held him together, but how would it go in your version?

and one more "and:" What is this APT PUPIL of which your icon speaks? If it's like the Stephen King version, woah...because the only reason Dean never turned into a monster while he was alive was his tremendous, overwhelming sense of good, of being the Protector and Nurturer ingrained in him by a lifetime of loving and caring for Sammy and, later, protecting others from Eeeeevil. The Force is pure and angel-bright in our unknowing young Jedi Master-in=training.

But really, objectively, Dean? He's more than a little crazy on the best day of his life, and he really IS a monster, Daddy's Little Blunt Instrument is -- but he's a monster for GOOD, and that makes all the difference.

But, take that away, give the formative years of the boy the wrong teacher(s) and run for the HILLS.

Eek, I was thinking of the idea you mentioned elsewhere of 22-year-old Sam winding up in the behavioral-health ward.

I thought the icon was of Ben, not Dean, but yeah, he did have that protege thing going on...

I also thought for a minute you were referring to the icon directly above. You'd have to call *that* boat trip a CRUISIN' TO A BRUISIN'...
