I cannot comprehend some of the things people ask for at [livejournal.com profile] spnstoryfinders .  Honestly! I know everybody has their things, but still. *shudders*

And they DON'T PUT IT BEHIND THE CUT.

I really enjoy rejecting submissions. Does that make me a bad person?

lol ... of course, now you have me wondering about the requests that get rejected.

And no, that definitely doesn't make you a bad person. I don't imagine it's an easy job but I, for one, appreciate the time and effort you put into it, even though you do have to read some strange requests. Thanks! :)

Now you make me want to start requesting the skankiest, most questionable things imaginable :P.

I usually get my Massive Eyeroll of the Day from the stuff that makes it through the screening process. (Fic involving the boys wearing adult diapers is one of my particular favorites.) I'm not sure I'd want even a glimpse of the stuff you turn down.

LOL, I can't even stand to go there unless I get a weird amount of random hits on a story and suspect someone's requested it. (No offense to you, of course.) :P

LOL, I can't imagine you ever having a complex. You're just so sweet.

I get turned off by all the bottom!Sam and bottom!Jared requests. I honestly never had a preference, but since people started saying stories had to have that, I purposely won't write or read it. I love that I'm so pig-headed. LOL.

Here, haz a bunny.

I'll admit that I have thought of dropping the comm several times because of the lack of a cut--some of the requests really squicked me. And yeah, the diaper guy got through several times. *shudders* Talk about my troll alarm screeching!

I'm looking at the most recent entries, and someone's requested a little set of stuff (1-4) that would make a ridiculously cracky and horrifying fic were the tropes combined. I ALMOST WANT TO SEE IT.

No it does not make you a bad person. I regularly laugh at some of the requests people have. Especially requests that are prefaced by "I'm sooooo embarrassed but I want blah blah blah." or "I know this is TOTALLY WEIRD to want but can I have blah blah blah".

As though stating you want pickle rape non-con daddy-cest posession with rabbits and evil!Sam/submissive!Dean in the vain of Two Girls/One Cup will be justified if you're even the least bit embarrassed that you want it.

So no, you're not bad. You're good.

you are cruel.

not because you enjoy rejecting submissions, but because now i'm going to be wondering about those ejected submissions ALL THE TIME.

No. It's like editing papers for people I vaguely know, knowing they'll about cry at the array of marks on it and not caring because goddammit, someone needs to put them down.

That and some of those are just so WTF you have to do it.

Oh dearlord, grammar. =shudder= If you think the internet is bad, guh. It's not hard to read rules, y'know?

How do you mod that comm without a bottle of alcohol and a shot glass? That could be a drinking game.

You have been on my f-list forever, dude. How did I not know you are a mod at [livejournal.com profile] spnstoryfinders?

I would say 'No' on that. :-)

At least you didn't have to respond to someone who asked for your story by saying, "hi, thanks for asking but this story of mine SUCKS, please don't read it"! :)

Dunno if that makes you feel better or not. Mostly I'm trying to make you laugh.

OMG some of the stuff we get scares the crap out of me. For the most I'm fairly unshock/squickable, but sometimes... >.<

To be honest 99% of the time I don't care what people are looking for, whatever floats their boat, but the lack of proofreading makes me shudder!

What freaks me out more is that no matter HOW scary the prompt is there is always someone out there who will have fic to offer up.
