In the Blade movies, why don't they just turn the cure into an airborne agent?  Even if they the vampires don't breathe, skin contact could be enough.

It *would* be enough, because the skin absorbs stuff. They'd have to live inside air-tight domes or something, and that would make it hard to get their prey/blood supplies in. Airlocks?

Water, also. They don't need to drink it, but I'm assuming they *do* bathe! :D

It would be different if they'd addressed it a little, mentioned that maybe someone had tried it with an experimental agent and killed a few vamps-and the retaliation killed so many people that they never tried it again. Or that they tried it and the vamps that survived it had developed an immunity, so they needed to find something else. You know? Point and counter point! But to just ignore an obvious possible solution aggravates me.

For the same reason that in the second movie light went and bent around corners like was a fiery explosion and not just, you know, LIGHT. If it makes sense it just doesn't happen.
