It’s not that he doesn’t miss the impala(because he does, so damn much) or that he doesn’t miss Bobby and Ellen and everyone he’s ever met, even the ones he didn’t like. It’s not that he’s happy being hailed as a Son of Adam, with subservient squirrels, or what the fuck ever, asking if there’s anything they can do for his highness, please, anything at all.

It’s not how cool he thinks talking animals are, or the thrill he gets from watching damned trees dance.

It is how Sammy hasn’t stopped smiling since Aslan spoke his name.

Have you seen the fic where Sam goes to Narnia in his quest to save Dean from Hell? (I think that was the plot; it's been awhile since I read it.)

No, I haven't. Iiiinteresting. (I've really not read any crossovers except recently a crossover with Monsters Inc. out of sheer curiosity. It was actually quite good.)

I don't think so. It was actually a CW-RPS/Monsters, Inc. that I saw rec'd just a day or so ago, but I think was written much earlier. Don't recall! Eek!

::raises hand:: That would be mine. I wrote "Sam, Son of Adam" for a challenge, then followed it up with "Kings for a Little Time." I was terribly, terribly nervous about writing Narnia at ALL, because that story is sacred to me, but people seemed to like. I probably wouldn't have clicked on this link either without my own experience (and my knowledge that tigriswolf is very, very good) urging me to try it. :)
