Star Trek/Sky High fusion

So, for reel_startrek I'm writing a fic, yes?  It's a fusion of Sky High and the reboot.  The main characters, of course, are Bones, Jim, and Spock, but there's a whole lot of other people from various fandoms.  I'm already over a thousand words into it, but there's no clear plot yet.  It's just scenes that I want.

Thing is, I'm thinking Bones has to die at the end.  tigris_lilsis says no.  tigremere says some people might like that.   Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to convince me to let him live.

If anyone's curious, I have a character list, divided by grade and subject for the students and teachers.

Okay, I'm not really a Bones fan, so I might don't care, but with the reboot...he shouldn't die.
But honestly, you're the author. If you feel like he's to die - he's already dead Jim.
My stories all tend to develop some kind of momentum I can't stop. Some plots you're not planing, but they're happening.
I know, I'm not really helping.
Do we get some intel???

You want to kill Bones?????? OMG!!!!!!! Um, right, it's now my mission to make you change your mind!!!!!!!! Not knowing Sky High I have no idea how to do that... I believe research is in order!

Hopefully, even if you don't care about Bones one way or the other, throughout the fic you fall in love with him. He's the narrator, and he's had a bad past, and it's all about him realizing that he's worth caring about. So. Yeah. I'm pretty sure he has to die.

Intel? Well, Spock has superstrength along with all his Vulcan abilities, Jim can manifest wings of any kind strong enough to carry him, and Bones can heal. That's how he ends up dying, I think.

(Also, the rest of the cast is in there, too, of course. Uhura can speak any language fluently after only hearing one word of it. Sulu can block other people's powers. Scotty can talk to machines. Chekov can make people do whatever he wants just by telling them to.)

I don't want to kill him! I just think that might have to be the way the story goes.

Check out Sky High! It's adorable. It's kinda like the X-Men meets Clueless.

I love drama, so I'm sure I'll fall in love with Bones.

But wait! When I'm finally in love with Bones he can't die!
Besides, after thinking about it, Sky High isn't worth to die for.

and now I need a Bones icon, cause I'll be in love with him...

Yep, it's a Sky High thing. In the movie, one of the characters has acid spit.

Oh, it isn't the school Bones dies for.

If I recall the movie right, there must be someone who represents the old school heroes. In the movie that's Kurt Russell. Who will that be in your story? Spock Prime? Pike?

So far I've casts the teachers and the principal. Since it's from Bones pov and he doesn't have parents--I actually do need to give him a home life, don't I? Hmm...

I call him CloudMonster and ship him with the stork. *hee* I swear, I spent the whole thing just *aww*ing.

Yep, there's a list! Divided by grades and subjects, as well as students, teachers, and Star Trek.

I'm almost two-thousand words into it, but that's just scenes with no unifiying plot yet.

A story as in fic? Nope. Just what I believe about CloudMonster and Stork. *snuggles them both* And Up! I was either almost crying or flatout laughing the entire time.

No, I don't need help with plot yet. I know how it ends, who the villain is, and how I want the interactions to work out.

I haven't actually seen Lilo and Stitch but I really like Monsters Inc.

I do make up stories about anything. It's how I keep myself entertained when cleaning or driving or walking. *shrugs* (The current one is about how I could meet Chris Pine, become a screenwriter, and then marry him. *facepalm*)

I have similar stories|ideas - not about Pine though (I'm not into blond) - but the direction is the same.
I'll write a screenplay when I'm grown up and get an Oscar!

Oh no, you can't kill him. He needs to live and he's worth saving. What if there's a scene where he thinks he's dying but he doesn't?
