Yes, I finally got my Poets of the Fall CD. *glee*

I have a new job, at my college’s bookstore. I get 20% off textbooks.

So, I know I had a plan for my werewolf!Dean ‘verse. I actually think I might have ended up turning Sam into a vampire, so that he and Dean could be together forever. Or that may have been a different story. However, even though I’ve reread the entirety of what I have, I still lack the inspiration to finish it.

I took an assessment of my possible careers and guess what the top result was? Translator. Yeah, I have no idea either. I’m barely conversational in Spanish, if that, and I really don’t see myself ever getting better. The rest of the results, however, do seem more accurate.

I found a short story I started last year, about a family descended from fairies. I added some to it. I also located, again, some stuff I’ve been meaning to type up and (possibly) finish for about a year. Maybe even longer.

I think I want to teach people to read. Not little kids (I’ve already done two semesters helping second graders get better at reading), but illiterate adults. Or maybe English as a second language. Any ideas for material to research? I’ve already emailed a volunteering program here in the city, but no one’s gotten back to me yet.

Actually, you know what? Listening to this CD (Poets of the Fall, Carnival of Rust), there should be a vid for just about every song. Have you heard “All the Way/4U?” Holy shit, dudes.

I think my new favorite animal is the supercroc. They are AWESOME. Maybe my career should have something to do with prehistoric beasts? Except that would require science classes, yeah?

I watched Disney’s Hercules today. Hades reminded me an awful lot of Alistair.

Of course, everything reminds me of Supernatural, so maybe that’s not so shocking.

And another thing: I rewatched some of "The Magnificent Seven" very early this morning and actually looked for any other pairing besides Chris/Vin. The only thing that leapt out was Buck/JD, except I already saw them. So.

Anyway, time to wrap up this post. So, final thought: if you could have me write anything, (any fandom, any storyline) what would it be? Also, any timestamp requests? That might be interesting.

part 2

So, the

reel_startrekfic is done, somewhere around 6000 words. There are also three companion ficlets.

The only thing is, I need to know how much stronger a Vulcan is than a human. Does anyone know? I've tried MemoryAlph and wikipedia, but couldn't find an exact estimate. Is it ever stated somewhere?

So, the thing is, after I finally finish typing the Doom/Blade:Trinity/Pirates of the Caribbean/Star Trek reboot fic, I'm going to be so sick of it that I won't be able to reread it. Are any of you willing? It's already topped two-thousand words and there's still about thirteen more pages to type. I'd like someone to look for typos or horrendous plotholes.

Also, in the

reel_startrekfic, I have a scene where some characters ride horses bareback. Since I've never done that, would anyone be willing to read over it for any glaring errors? And no, that one's not typed yet either, so it might be a few weeks before I can send it to anyone.

First of all, we've brought the kitten(both me and

tigris_lilsisare calling him GusGus.

tigremerehas called him Gus once or twice) in the house for longer periods of time, fencing off the computer room for his use. Our cat, Jenny, spends most of her time just looking at him and making scary "I'm going to eat you" noises.

Second of all, I've written the ending for the

reel_startrekfic, and a companion story about Dean realizing he has powers, and started another companion fic about the teachers getting ready for Bones to transfer in.

Third of all, literary theory is very boring.

Fourth of all, penguins are adorable.

Fifth of all, if you had to choose a family vacation spot and the options were Washington DC, Ireland/Scotland/England, Italy, or Europe as a whole, which would it be?

So, if someone were to write a fic about secret doorways into/outta Hell that Dean knows about because he could go anywhere those years he was Alistair's favorite, should the flashbacks or the present be italized?

Also, if two of your characters have pretty much the ultimate power--like, say, reality bending, such that Charlie could tell Jim, "Hey, Jim, you're a girl" and quite suddenly, Jim is a girl or the ability to negate others' powers--how would the villain take them out before his plan goes into motion?

reel_startrek I'm writing a fic, yes? It's a fusion of Sky High and the reboot. The main characters, of course, are Bones, Jim, and Spock, but there's a whole lot of other people from various fandoms. I'm already over a thousand words into it, but there's no clear plot yet. It's just scenes that I want.

Thing is, I'm thinking Bones has to die at the end.

If anyone's curious, I have a character list, divided by grade and subject for the students and teachers.

Think how much fun NotMegSam and “Parasite”-era Sylar could’ve had on a killing spree together. *glee*
If Sylar’s so smart, how come he didn’t hide the bodies of his victims? Or wait until after Mohinder had interviewed Dale Smither and then gone back for her before they left town? He could’ve gotten so many more powers that way.
My spn_summergen fic is done and emailed in! Now I can focus on my reel_startrek fic.
I like Zachary Quinto/Chris Pine fic as much as the next girl, but where are all the Karl Urban fics with either(or both) of the above?
*hee* In my reel_startrek fic, Dean’s power is intuitive aptitude. Also, I’m pretty sure the main romantic relationship(if the story ever progresses that far) is Jim/Bones/Spock. Can you guess what their powers are?
If Matt Parkman Jr. ever came into contact with Sylar, could he return all the season one powers Sylar lost?
Why did Sylar leave Luke and Micah alive? And where’re all the fics concerning that attitude change?
