Prompt: Alistair & Dean, teaching him how to torture others in Hell

Alistair guides his hand the first time, showing him where and how to cut. Dean knows how to kill with a blade, quick and clean, or how to make it hurt if he needs information. But what worked Above won't here; there are no bodies, only manifestations of souls. It's an entirely different ballgame and on Dean's first time on the field, Alistair whispers in his ear. That's good. Ooh, such a nice cut, pet. Like that. I knew I was right with you.

Dean has always learned quickly. Soon enough, Alistair steps back and just watches.

With a patience he rarely had Above, Dean will wait until he has a chance to turn the blade on Alistair. He knows it will come.

Everyone gets tortured in Hell.

Prompt: Sylar/Luke learning to trust again

After the clusterfuck that is Sylar's might crammed into an incestuous politician, Sylar leaves New York in a fury. He has no destination in mind except far fucking away, and he leaves a trail of corpses in his wake.

As Gabriel Petrelli(a lie) and Nathan Petrelli(another lie) he loved them. Gabriel Gray had no feelings except regret, but Sylar—well, Sylar never did well with cages.

Luckily for sweet Claire, she was in California. Unluckily for Bennet(but quite the present for Sylar), he was visiting with Mommy Petrelli and Sylar made them watch each other die. Most everyone else was also somewhere in the city, all those stupid pains-in-the-ass who watched him burn and cheered, who tormented him by existing since the first time he met Claire.

He leaves Mohinder alone, but only him. Anyone else he can find, he takes out his rage on. Some of them he harvests; some he just rips apart. Depending on his mood.

He’s just past the state line, trying out his new abilities one by one, when he sees a familiar form hitchhiking.

Sylar pauses. Luke hasn’t noticed him yet; the kid looks tired. He clearly can’t take care of himself. Not surprising. What does take Sylar off-guard is that he doesn’t want anyone else to take care of Luke. The kid may be a dumb stray, but he’s Sylar’s dumb stray. Sylar cast him aside once before, but he was confused and angry, and may very well have killed Luke, if Luke kept pushing.

Well. A sidekick can always come in handy, and Luke’s puppy-eyed hero-worship was pretty nice. And every supervillain needs a pupil, just as every ruler needs an heir.

Prompt: any, "I did it for you"

i

I did it for you, Sam says, sitting proud on his throne, a circlet of fire on his head. You should thank me.

On his knees, ribs creaking, hands bound behind him, surrounded by demons, Dean says, You're a fuckin' liar, little brother. None of this was for me.

The demons growl, but Dean looks up to meet Sam's pure-blue gaze. No demon Dean's ever heard of has eyes like that. He doesn't know what Sam is, but he sure as fuck knows who he is.

Then why did I do it? the End of All Things asks quietly. If Dean still had a heart after everything, it'd be broken.

Because, Dean finally admits, you came back wrong.

Taking a deep breath that sends sharp pain throughout his body, Dean adds, But so did I.

And his little brother smiles.

Prompt: Castiel/Dean, anything about their relationship (God's POV)

Despite what the angels and demons believed, The Creator had not, in fact, "left the building". Everything was going according to a plan perfected and set in motion when the stars were young, back when the planes of existence were no more than dust and the glimmers of an idea.

There had been a few missteps along the way(The Son would never let The Creator forget The Spanish Inquisition or The French Revolution, nevermind The Flood) but everything was going swimmingly.

Watching The Righteous Man and The Doubting Angel(so named by The Son), The Creator smiled. Yes—the apocalypse would happen, but not as anyone except those in the know expected. As the Angel leaned in close, hesitant, unable to fathom that such a pleasure could be allowed, The Creator glanced over to watch Lucifer rant at his army.

As the Man gently touched the Angel’s face, The Son asked, “You really planned this all along?”

The Creator smiled, as Lucifer smote half his forces with one blow, angry that his demons were so weak, so incapable of killing two humans. “Yes,” The Creator said. “It’s called being ineffable. One day, when you’re my age, you might be as good at it.”

The Son scoffed, passing the popcorn.

Prompt: Hermione/Draco, marriage tattoos (Draco's POV)

He cannot stand seeing his forearm. The blemish. That mad bastard's brand eternally seared into his skin.

The Dark Mark is impossible to remove. No matter what he tries, magically or otherwise, it remains, proof his failures and his faults, of his weakness.

"Draco," Hermione tells him one day, not too long after their marriage, "I have an idea." She links their fingers, brushing her other hand along the Mark. He flinches away; she should not have to look upon it, much less touch it.

"Tattoos," she whispers into his ear. "Matching. To cover up his hatred with our love."

He's tried everything else, so why not?

When it works, just plain old muggle needle-and-ink, Draco takes her to bed and worships her body in a way he's never worshipped anyone else.

It's a good thing that Alistair didn't manage to turn Dean into his good little soldier.

Well done

I really liked the Draco/Hermione. My tattoo kink was happy, and since I never read Deathly Hallows, the noncanon aspect didn't faze me. I liked Hermione finding a muggle answer to a magic problem--and Draco appreciating her all the more for it.

Also, Dean biding his time until he can get a chance at Alastair--well, I can't say nice, because it and he aren't. But well-written, and IC, yes.
