1. Do you have any idea how annoying it is to go through an entire semester and not receive a single grade on anything? Not even at midterm? And the final is next week, and our second paper is due, and NONE OF US have any idea how we're doing in the class.

2. Go play at [livejournal.com profile] spn_gabriel !

3. So, I'm trying to watch season 4 of "Bones" and saw the first four episodes because they were bonus on season 3 DVDs. However, I then got disc 3 of season 4 in the mail, except it started with episode 13. Is that right? Are there actually eight episodes on a single disc?

4. Also! What's up with the revolving lab geeks? That was confusing.

5. Should I go to grad school?

6. I have over a dozen DVDs I have never watched and will never watch, opened and not. Should I donate them to the library or sign up at amazon to tell them?

7. Do you prefer protective!Sam or protective!Dean fics?

1. Damn. That really stinks. I've been in classes like that, and I just wanted to shake the prof by the shoulders and scream, "Give me my grades!"

5. I guess you'd have to weigh the pros/cons of grad school. It's expensive and time-consuming. On the other hand, it can be a great asset if you need a higher degree for your career or it can just be a very fulfilling experience for you (I know people who have 15 master's degrees to their name just because they love learning so much). Personally, I think that if somebody's not 100% sure that they want to go to grad school and they don't need it for a career (like they could work with the degree they have), maybe take some time away from school, get some "real life experience," per se, and then see if returning to grad school is right later in life. Granted, these are just my opinions, so please take them all with a grain of salt. :)

I'm given to understand that the S4 set of Bones omits the first four episodes precisely because they were in the S3 set.

Check your library's catalog for the ones you've never opened and donate any they don't have. The rest put up on Amazon.

1. Ugh. I hate when professors do that. I had one of those last semester. It was so not cool to have to deal with that the semester of graduation.

2. Heh. I went, I joined, I posted ;)

3. & 4. I pretty much gave up on Bones after season 2? 3? Er, not really sure as I didn't keep up with whatever season I was watching @ the time. As for the revolving lab geeks, I think that was an attempt to find a 'replacement' for Zach, but Bones didn't want to make a decision.

5. Do you want to? And if you do, do you want/are you able to do it right after college? I'm currently saving up/trying to finance going as I want to pay off at least part of my finaid from my BA before jumping into a Master's. What are you thinking of going for?

6. I currently have a similar problem. Dangit. There needs to be like a dvd exchange like the paperback ones.

7. Think it depends on the day/mood I'm in. But I think protective!Sam might win.

1. You bet your freakin #2 pencil I did. Especially since for some reason he tried to avoid me like the plague. I would want to ask him something after class and he'd practically sprint for the door. Stop by his office? Never worked as he was never in it. Same thing happened to my friend Shane. Yet, he didn't seem to have a problem with other students.

2. Now we have to entice other people over there.

3&4. Plotwise, supposedly Bones couldn't bear to replace Zach (much like when he went to Iraq). They could've done a much better job with the whole situation imo.

5. Cool. Then I say go for it when you decide what subject you wanna pursue :D (I'm a Library Science girl myself)

6. Noticed the swaptree thing. Wonder how good it is? Think I'll confer with the rest of the flist this week & see what they think

7. Oh, Sammy. I took a look @ my fics and apparently I write quite a bit of protective!Sam. It outweighs the P!Dean anyway.

1. Quell surprise. Hmmm. She will have to hand them out before the end of term (at least if they're anything like the SPOTS evals we did - where she would also be required to leave the class and not actually touch the evals themselves)

3&4. I definitely like Clark. I saw a rerun with him last night. They should've given him more of a chance.

5. Lots of organization, learning the Library of Congress classification system, shelving, and lots of internet/computer stuff like databases, research, etc.

6. *salutes* Will do.

7. I think that definitely figures into it. Plus the fact that I like putting Dean in the protectee mode since he's spent/spends so much time as the protector.

4. It's quite fun actually, once you get to know them.
7. Pre-series - protective!Dean.
Other than that, mostly protective!Sam, especially when Sam started to get wider and bulkier :)

Going to grad school to avoid getting a job is a bad idea. Do it because you like and enjoy the things you're going to be studying or because you need the credential for the sort of jobs you DO want to be able to get.

Not updating you on your grades is extremely uncool. It'd be one thing if he/she gave you other feedback on ways to improve/adjust, but if nothing at all is going on in that way, your instructor is failing as a teacher.

7. I love me some evil!Sam, and him protecting Dean after claiming his destiny as the boy king rocks my socks. Otherwise, Dean is the Guardian and Sam is the guarded. That's just the way it is. Sam has Dean's back on the job, but he doesn't wake up in the middle of the night to make sure that nobody's come in and kidnapped his brother in the middle of the night the way that Dean does.
