Also, I think season 5 has been the best. *shrugs* I may be alone in that, but I've really enjoyed it.

Season one/two will always be my favorites, although this finale has to be my fav. But Dean? Absolutely the bestest ever.

I think I may have overreacted with my praise of the finale. See, I've been so disappointed with this season my expectations of Swan Song was nil. I was easy to impress.

It was only while writing up my review that I realized it wasn't quite as good as I had originally thought(though not nearly as bad as some are saying). So much for hindsight.

I loved the premise of this season, I just think a lot of the episodes...ummm...sucked.

Dean is straight up one of the best heroes in fiction, no doubt. I'm still digesting that finale.
Seems Dean's picked up a bit of a stalker.

I've been talking with justforspite and I think we've come to the conclusion that it's Samifer that the two have merged into one being and now watching over/stalking Dean.
We'll see, but that's my story and I'm sticking to it!

It's the only thing that makes sense given the context of what we've seen up to this point and it's a world of story in one concept that would be awesome to explore.
Plus, Samifer being a creeper on poor, unaware Dean is both scary as hell and weirdly hot.

I don't know how I feel about this finale. I don't think I've processed it yet, I might have to re-watch the entire 5th season.

I'm happy Bobby and the car are okay. I thought Chuck/God was really writing a eulogy for it and I was like "pleaaase let the car be okay".

Also, has Chuck been God the whole time or just this episode? Cause Dean's amulet would have burned in season 4 when they met, right ?

And what's with SAM ? Is he Dumbledore now ?

I think maybe Chuck was always God, he just didn't know it till this episode.

Oh I really like this idea.

But wait. Didn't God talk to Joshua all the time? And Chuck only knew stuff from his dreams, not talking back...

So he was either lying, or not God yet, but he can't have known he was God...

Season five has been EXCELLENT. I think I would be incapable of actually choosing a best to give the title to, but I've definitely adored the ride this season.
