The word 'inciteful' does not exist.  And 'incite' means to provoke.

'Insightful,' however, does exist.  It means intuitive.

How hard is it to learn the difference?

Haha, you're so right. And isn't it sad that, after reading enough of these fics, the wrong way starts to look right? *Runs off to check journal for incorrect usage of the word insightful.*

I make lotsa mistakes, because I never proofread a damned thing, and my fingers get going ahead of my brain. But I do also tend to bastardize words for my own personal use. I think I use insite, all the time, and that's kinda a hybrid. And I know what you mean. I'm willing to overlook a lot of grammatical errors if the writer can deliver plot, not to mention Dean and Sam.
