So some kid brought a gun to my little sister's school today.

Jesus Christ.  It was unloaded, but still.

A gun to my baby sister's school.

I've felt like crying for twenty minutes now.

I'm sorry. When violence or the potential of it comes so close... I'm glad she's okay though. That kid with the gun should be throttled.

I understand how frightened you must have been. I live in the DC metro area and the shooting of the middle school boy by the Beltway sniper was at my daughter's school. It was terrifying. There were also several lockdowns when she was in high school. The world is a much harsher place then it used to be.
