So, um, there's this fic I'm writing.  Okay, it's actually completed but I'm wondering if I should even post it anywhere, because it's probably implausible, not to mention possibly icky.

So, Lucas, right?  Kid from "Dead in the Water."  Very PrettyDean episode, not the cutest kid in the world, and poor WoobieJared with the fractured(broken?) hand.

Anyway, the fic(and if anyone wonders, yes, I talk like this too, all rambly and not getting to the point.  Drives my mother crazy, which is always fun).   After Dean and Sammy saved the day(actually, they didn't really.  Peter just got what he wanted, so he went on his murdering way) what happened to Lucas and Andrea?  And what would happen if Lucas never had any crushes on anyone because he fell a little in love with Dean?  He couldn't be happy because he always felt like something was missing.  So he grows up and finally leaves home, following a feeling, and then--

He's not a kid anymore, he's about seventeen.  (Okay, is seventeen, sheesh.)  So, it's not really icky.

But I'm just wondering if I should even type this up.  It's finished, waiting in my notebook, but I'm not entirely happy with it.  There are parts I like a whole lot, and other's I think feel forced.

Maybe I should just scrap what I have and turn it into a drabble.

ETA: Here's the fic.

I, for one, am very glad you decided to post it. And, in general, I don't know you or how you work, but my general philosophy is not to censor the muse and, once having written something, go ahead and share it. Even if it squicks some people (which this one likely didn't do, actually), it will be right up other people's alleys. Besides, some of the best writing makes people think a bit outside their usual boxed in view of things, makes them squirm a little or philosophize, and all that is good. :D
