Sightseeing wise: One of my favorite legs of the tour is take people to the Staten Island ferry, get on it and ride back and forth to see the statue of liberty for free, then walk through the financial district, ground zero, and the south street seaport.
Greenwich village is also a must. People watching in Washington Square Park.
