So, I attended a baccalaureate service today.  The preacher was horrible and I tried not to pay attention (he was a terrible public speaker, with silly metaphors and an annoying voice), but then he somehow went from being the salt of the earth needed to show the pagans how to live with honor (or some shit like that) to how families can only exist with one man and one woman.  Yeah.  That's when I checked out.  (And apparently there are at least four -known- gay, lesbian, or bi kids in the class). 

I pulled out my notebook and asked tigremere for a word; she gave me 'intolerant'.   Guess what I wrote?

Kurt Hummel finally snapping and killing one of his bullies.  *hee*

At some point in the sermon, the preacher said something like go and live out loud, and don't hide your lights in the closet.  Honestly.  I'm not sure he was even listening to himself.

Of course, this is the same school that chased me away from their god when I was about thirteen.  I've yet to go back.

Thanks be to the cloud who poops out world that tigris_lilsis is graduating this year.  We'll never have to deal with them again!

I've had quite a few of those sort of those ministers who use religion as a shield for their bigotry and intolerance, so I'll leave ya with a quote from a funny tv show about two brothers and this car...
