typing-up woes

About a third of the time, I go to write "Jake" and the letters form "Jack."

I'm dreadfully terrified Dean and Sam are out of character.  It'll be AU from sometime in season one--the crash never happened, John's alive, and the Roadhouse may or may not exist, I haven't decided yet.

I really want to cross over with either my House of Wax AU fic "Awakening" or New York Minute, but I think that would get far too confusing far too quickly.

By the way, thankfully it already has a title.  It pretty much had a title before Jake found the boys: "Genetic Codes."

I'm fairly certain it's already passed the four thousand word-mark, but I haven't even begun typing it up yet.

To date, I've got 45k of a half written novel, an 11k short story, a 15k half written novel and my longest completed peice is My Devour/SPN au, which was 24k. It's hard to write long things when school just teaches us short stories.

That's not counting uncomplete stuff or short completed peices. Anythng finished I've put up on my blog, one or the other. I got a 45k finished novel which is never going to get published but i keep it for story purposes. The characters turn up in other things.
