Your icon isn't fiction, it's RL in Florida, lol. We have Burmese Pythons in the Everglades that are huge enough to swallow 8 ft+ alligators whole (and have done so, I saw the newspaper photo UGH UGH UGH!!!)
That particular one didn't, but I don't know what happened-I was too freaked out to read the article. Burmese pythons! In the Everglades! Bad enough we have the rest of the critters we do, but those were imported as pets and released into the wild, and they sure do like it here. D:
