So, I saw
The Muppets with
tigremere and it is AWESOME. I've never really watched any of the muppets TV shows, but, dear lord, the movie is hilarious. So many cameos and breaking the fourth wall jokes and CHRIS COOPER SINGING A VILLAIN SONG. *cackles*
And chickens sing Cee Lo!
And Jack Black is the straight man for Fozzie Bear.
So wonderful.

I read a book about making Sesame Street, and there was a little fringe info on the Muppet Show and other projects. It's very upsetting because Jim Henson didn't have to die from his illness-if he'd gone to the hospital to get checked when he first started feeling sick, he'd have been ok. We lost a great artist in him...I remember that Sammy Davis Jr died around the same time, and there was a cartoon in the paper that showed Sammy and Kermit, dancing together on a cloud.
