Highlander/Avengers idea I'll never write

So, does anyone else want an Avengers AU where Methos is Fyrstr from my fic ‘a taste of lightning’ and Clint has been loyal to him the whole time? And Methos is Loki’s dad, who gave him to Odin to raise because he figured being a prince would be better than the son of a wandering vagabond, and he’d been protecting Asgard with his power for about ten thousand years. And when things started going south, Odin didn’t call on Methos for help, and the whole Chitauri thing happened…

Clint is one of the very first things Methos ever made, from back before humanity’s ancestors crawled out of the sludge, and he’s been sorta stationed on Earth for a very long time. And he went with Loki because he knew who Loki was and wanted to keep an eye on him. And when Methos steps in, before Loki&Thor return to Asgard, Clint reveals himself to have been his the whole time.

Methos calls Clint ‘Raptor’ and he’s so furious with Odin that he doesn’t even give him the dignity of being killed by Fyrstr: he sends Clint to him for a swift execution. (Clint predates Odin by about a billion years. And he’s awesome.) And Fyrstr removes his protection from Asgard’s borders because he gave Odin the most precious thing of all and Odin severely fucked up.

Anyway. I’ve been having fun making up versions of this in my head for weeks. I really wish someone would write it for me.

Okay, for years, I've heard about this Highlander...

I vaguely recalled a tv series I never watched but never went past that. Then, one of my other Friends List people wrote an Avengers/Highlander fic.

So, I watched the movie which was confusing and boring and very...80s.

Who is this Methos? Because he was very big in the other story as well but I don't know who he is.

Methos is from the TV show. He shows up in season 3 and hangs around till the end. He's the oldest immortal (around 5000 - so he says) and was Death of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse for a thousand years. He’s a smartass and his philosophy is live. grow stronger. fight another day.

In short? He’s awesomesauce incarnate.

I'd read that story, in fact I'd click on that so fact my damaged keyboard would probably give up the ghost.
Raptor = hawk .. very cool.
Man, if I had any skills at writing I'd do it. Unfortunately I cannot write and what I could pen would be a terrible, terrible thing to foist on the public.
