Jack is played by Sebastian Stan. I was predisposed to like him. But he’s also living a lie and hating it, and wanting to do the right thing, deep down inside, except his whole life, that’s been beaten out of him. He wants his father’s approval and love, and he wants to be a king worth the crown, and he wants to be happy, and how can that be too much to ask? And his men love him, and he tried to take a bullet for his dad, and he came back when he should have run, because he knew it was the right thing to do – even if it cost him his life. Yeah. I was predisposed to like him, but I love him because he’s so wonderfully broken.

Jack/David. C’mon – they met because David went behind enemy lines and saved his life. I also have a fondness for Jack/Joseph - you’re the only real thing I’ve ever touched.

… I also like Jack + David, where one of them is the king and the other his right hand. Alas, I haven’t found any fics with that dynamic yet. *pouts*

Um. I have no idea what would be unpopular about Jack. Sorry?

Well, I wish Jack could have become king. And that he and David had gotten together. And that he and Joseph could’ve have come out and been happy.

Hmm. I actually haven’t had any ideas for Kings, at least none for me to write myself. Thinking about it… most of them involve Jack&David teaming up to take the throne. *shrugs*

Clint is competent. And a master assassin. I’m not sure how much of his comics background is gonna be used in the filmverse, but my headcanon has him going from the circus to black ops to being a killer-for-hire to SHIELD. Which is awesome. And he’s snarky. And he worked seamlessly with Loki, which is when he became my favorite. That whole dynamic. I love it.

I like Clint with Loki most of all. Usually, with the whole mind-control thing taken out of the equation, because Clint chooses to go back to him… yeah. Issues, I have them. Then, Coulson. And I’ve developed a fondness for Winter Soldier taking Clint under his wing and teaching him, which, of course, translates to them being partners in every meaning of the word.
Clint&Natasha as BFFs all the way, yo.

What is unpopular about Clint? Is it unpopular to say that I really can’t read the fics where either he or Loki torments the others? Because I really don’t like it when that happens. *shrugs*

Well, I kinda wish we’d seen more of him being badass on Loki’s side. Like, a whole movie of it.

Dude, the ideas I have for Clint? Numerous. Him being Methos’ kid is the one at the forefront of my mind right now. (In that one, he kills Odin! *glee*)

I went into Leverage prepared to like Eliot because he had been Lindsey. I stayed because he kicked ass and snarked while doing it.

Eliot/Hardison. Or Eliot/Hardison/Parker. (And, Eliot/Dean Winchester.)

Eliot + Parker, as siblings. I like that.

I don’t like Nate/Eliot. I can’t read it. I also don’t like Eliot/Parker unless Hardison is a part of it.

Well, I haven’t seen this past season, so I don’t know if it happened – but I’d like Eliot to teach Hardison&Parker how to ride horses.

Ideas for Eliot? I haven’t written Leverage in a while. Hmm. Maybe him and Clint Barton teaming up at some point. Or him being one of Loki’s kids. *hee*

Well, I went into Chuck pretty much just for Bryce, because of White Collar. And Bryce is kickass competent, and a geek, and so clearly devoted to Chuck it’s adorable.
Chuck/Bryce all the way, full-stop, end of story.

I have a weakness for Bryce&Neal Caffrey as twins.

Unpopular? Well, I don’t like Bryce/Sarah at all. Does that count?

Bryce not dying would’ve been nice. As would a declaration of love to Chuck, and some making out.

Most of my ideas for Bryce involve him running to New York and his brother, but I have written a few versions of that. The ones that aren’t that, are him running to New York and becoming Neal, but I’ve written that, too. *shrugs*

Oh, it’s been so long since I read the books… I remember the basics, and the characters I liked, and a few the storylines beyond the over-reaching arch, so I can’t go into depth. Feel free to leave another character, if you’d like.


I like Rachel because she’s a kickass warrior princess. And faced her death with courage. God, but that’s still a heartbreaking moment.

Rachel/Tobias. All the way.

Her verbal sparring with Marco, I think.

Unpopular? Probably something about what happened with David (that dude they gave the morphing ability to and he betrayed them? His name was David, right?), but I can’t remember any particulars.

Her not dying would’ve been nice.

I wrote this fic where Azazel from Supernatural brought her back for Tobias, because Tobias was one of his special kids. And another where she didn’t actually die and Tobias was hiding it from the rest. I kinda wanna continue both of those, but I doubt I ever will.

Tony! Well, he’s a smartass. And a genius. And a moron. And so self-destructing it’s fascinating to watch. And he’s got this armor (not just Iron Man) that so few people can get through, because he’s actively sabotaging the attempts. But he really does want to change the world for the better, once he realizes how much damage he’s done on accident.

So, I really like Bruce/Tony since The Avengers. Before that, Pepper/Tony.

If Tony is with Pepper, then Bruce&Tony as Science Bros.

Is it unpopular to want a world where Tony became a villain after Afghanistan? Because I really want that.

I’d really like to see the moment where the Avengers figure out about Afghanistan, and how much that has affected Tony. Instead of just seeing the asshole, I want them to see the broken little boy who never got enough hugs. And then I want to see them hug him. But it’ll never happen in canon.

Well, I guess the aforementioned villain!Tony. I’m never going to write it. *shrugs*

Methos was Death of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse for a thousand years. He’s a smartass and his philosophy is live. grow stronger. fight another day. He’s been everywhere and done everything. He’s got 5000 (at least) years of history to play with. And he’s dangerous no one even sees it.

I’m not sure I have a OTP for Methos. Methos/survival, maybe. Methos/Kronos, when things were good.

My favorite gen relationship is Methos&Joe Dawson. Because Joe understood him far better than Duncan ever did.

Unpopular opinion? Well, wish it had been the Methos show, if that counts.

I can’t remember for sure if it ever happened, but I doubt it. I wish Duncan and Joe had a fight/sparring session where Methos unrepentantly kicked his ass and Duncan realized there is a reason Methos is the oldest.

I have this idea where Methos took a young Clint Barton under his wing and taught him some things while he was a kid. So there’s ten years where Clint is totally missing; SHIELD can’t find anything about him in those ten years. And then he just shows up in the army. In the story, Methos is basically Fyrstr from my fic ‘ a taste of lightning.’
