monicawoe to post 7 lines from the 7th page of my WIP. Unfortunately, either my WIPs don't reach 7 pages or they go way past it, and the 7th page has already been posted.

However! I do have one that is a multiple of 7, so here are 7 lines that are on the 21st page (and would be the second part) of "where there are no keepsakes":

Steve sits Bucky down at the kitchen table, doesn’t call anybody, doesn’t try taking the boy away from him, doesn’t demand answers. He just makes some cocoa and a platter of sandwiches, sets it all in front of Bucky, and waits patiently while Bucky tries to figure out how to eat while holding a sleeping child.

Bucky’s eyes keep going from the kid to Steve and back, and he’s nibbling his lip to death, the way he always did while working out a problem. He finally offers the boy to Steve and Steve carefully takes him.

The story pours out in fragmented sentences and tangents while Bucky works his way through seven ham&cheese sandwiches.

The gist, as far as Steve can determine, is this: Bucky was in England, saw a couple place a basket on a doorstep, have a conversation that made no sense, and vanish in plain sight, leaving a basket with a toddler sleeping inside on a doorstep at night in November in England. And Bucky didn’t know what to do, so he lurked till sunrise, when a woman opened the door, saw the basket and baby, screamed, flailed at the basket, kept screaming –

Does anyone want to play a game? Give me a scene or storyline from Glee and I'll either rewrite it or tell you why it went the same as canon with Kurt as Loki's son.

So, I'm totally having itty bitty panic attacks about various things In Real Life right now, in-between watching New Adventures of Old Christine for Agent Coulson and the Sebastian Stan scenes in Once Upon a Time (that dude is insanely good looking, and I really want him and Matt Bomer to be in something together now).

(Also, regarding panic attacks, I can coexist with spiders just fine when I'm in a building or outside. But in my car? No. Instant freak out. I'm not sure why. But it's bad to have an instant freak out IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC, DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE. Just, FYI.)

I kinda wanna play the commentary game again. You know, the one where someone tells me a fic they want my thought processes/AU ending/holy shit, can't believe I wrote that stuff on . So. Any takers?

To celebrate the New Year, I figure I'll ask for prompts. Y'all suggest a scene you'd like to see from any of my 'verses and I'll ponder on writing it.

I made this after googling white mice. It was inspired by a line from a Cinderella song: four white mice will never be four white horses.   There is no set time I use this; I just grab it whenever I want.

This is Jensen Ackles walking away from the camera with his shoulders looking mighty fine. I don't remember where I snagged the words from. It might be a poem. *shrugs* smilla02 made this at my request. I use it mainly for angsty Dean Winchester fics.

1) What was the first fandom you ever wrote for?

Digimon, I think. Or maybe Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The stories were particularly horrible, and I deleted them all a long time ago, which I regret now.

2) Where's the one place in the world you wish you could travel to, but are secretly aware you'll probably never get around to going to?

The Mariana Trench! And it's no secret I'll never go there. Dude, it's the bottom of the ocean. And I don't like boats. But I wanna go there anyway.

3) What's your favourite time of day?

Um. After the sun sets. Not because I'm a vampire; the sun is just really fucking bright, and I get migraines simply by existing.

4) That moment you first knew you loved Supernatural?

Well, I couldn't stop watching "Home," and then I watched "Asylum." In five years, I've only missed watching two episodes live, not counting the ones between the pilot and "Home". But I can't remember the instant I decided, Holy shit, this is the bestest show in the history of ever.

5) Speaking of which, do you, in real life, believe that there are such things as ghosts?

I think so. I mean, I really really don't like the thought of ghosts. Of all the supernatural 'monsters,' they're my least favorite. I've never experienced anything myself, but my sister swears our aunt's old house was haunted by my great-grandmother. My problem with ghosts, though, may (as in, I'm sure) stem from watching The X-Files way before I was ready, and I read three books full of ghost stories. I still shy away from thinking about one of the stories because of a dream it caused. I just... I can't even watch those 'ghost hunters in real life' shows, but the ghosts on Supernatural have never really bothered me. Maybe because I know for a fact they're all made up.

Which is to say, ghosts are probably real. I just hope I never meet one.

So, a couple years ago I wrote this fic where Dean got turned into a burmese mountain dog. I googled the breed, found this picture, and decided to icon it to go with the story. *shrugs* I think they're gorgeous dogs.

Another fic icon. So, I wrote this story where God takes the shape of a cat to talk to Dean. I googled tuxedo cats, found the picture, and made the icon.

This is Karl Urban from Doom, a movie I discovered after I saw the Star Trek reboot nine times at the theater last year. I think John "Reaper" Grimm is my favorite Karl Urban character, so I had to snag a Reaper icon. I had created my own, but when I found this one, I deleted my attempt.

This was made by the same person as the above. This is still Reaper, but he's also holding his twin sister. I like the lighting of it. He's a big damn hero.
