And John Blake! He's Dick&Jason&Tim all in one adorably hot package. And since we don't actually see Bane die, I want him to come back as Blake's first villain. Bane wants to burn Gotham down to avenge Talia, and sparks fly, and I don't even know.
You are not the only one desperate for Robin John Blake fic! I wanted some IMMEDIATELY upon returning home but I knew I wouldn't get any because I went to the midnight showing on the east coast and it was literally impossible. It was painful.
I might end up writing some if I feel I'd do him justice, but I'd have to see the movie a couple more times at least.
Our friend Doug took us for a late birthday present, sweetie. It was amazing! It was Knightfall, No Man's Land, Officer Down and even a little of the Prodigal storyline all beautifully mashed into one! :)
I KNOW, RIGHT! I totally called Marion Cotillard as Talia back in, like, '09, or whenever it was that they announced that she was going to even be in the movie, because seriously, who else could she possibly play? Who else could pull her off? When she stabbed Bats in the film I was practically bouncing off the seat furiously whirspering to my friends 'I KNEW IT!!!!'
I know nothing of Talia, really, but I read a spoilery reaction the night before I saw it, so I kept waiting for Talia to show up. I totally didn't realize it was Miranda until she was in the same room as Bane and they looked at each other.
But I did keep bouncing in seat because of all the awesomeness.
