I need characters.

So, in the fic where Tony is Jörmungandr - I need someone from Marvel'verse to be Váli&Nari. I've decided that I don't want it to be a crossover, because I'd have to explain whatever 'verse they come from. I've had it as Eames&Arthur, but today, as I was typing it up, I realized that I already have too much going on, and I don't want to deal with even more explanations.

So. Anyone know any good Marvel characters I could use instead?

X-Men is Marvel, isn't it? How about Charles and Erik? They've got that whole love/hate, two-sides-of-the-same-coin thing going on.

I've actually been toying with Wolverine&Sabertooth, but I could totally work Charles&Erik.

Ooh, those two could be very cool. I guess it depends on if you want your Vali and Nari to be cerebral or feral.

What I have so far (written with Arthur&Eames from Inception in mind) has Vali&Nari being assassins. Or, well, hunting various people down and killing them, which may not be quite the same thing.

I'm going with Wolverine&Sabertooth, I think. The Wolverine Origins movie versions, anyway.

Go with these two. I love Charles/Erik, but these guys are better suited to the assassin subplot you have planned (at least in my head movie-screen).
