Hurricane Isaac

So, we lost power for a good chunk of yesterday, but tigremere hooked up the generator left over from Gustav and we even had internet. No TV, though. There's all sorts of branches in the yard, but no giant ones, thankfully. The tree that used to drop those got cut down after Katrina. (It would've killed my car, but tigremere had foresight and managed to get two cars + a van under the carport. That branch went about half a foot into the ground and the former army guy from across the street had to come help us move it. My car would've been so dead.)

We definitely did not get the worst of the storm here, so yay for that. We're just waiting for the remnants to blow through and then we're gonna walk around the neighborhood.

I actually got no writing done, which is kinda annoying. I did color some My Little Ponies, though.

Yup, we're all fine. Even back at work today, though a good chunk of the state and Mississipi next door are still having a whole lotta problems.
